Monuments
30 Days, 30 Devotions.

In the Old Testament, people would set up a monument as a memorial of what God had done for them. It was a visible reminder for generations of God’s faithfulness.
These 30 devotions have been selected from M. C. Kennedy’s Monday Musings to serve as that same kind of memorial. Each one showcases God’s presence in various times of life, highlighting how He continues to work in the lives of His children as they strive to serve Him.

'For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.' --John 3:17
We all know the images of God as an angry judge, just waiting for us to mess up so He can punish us. We're told that God loves us, but that's only if we're good enough to earn it.
But what if the Bible tells us something different? What if God's not waiting to judge us but instead to welcome us into His family?
This study explores six biblical characters who made major mistakes that should have ruined their chances of being close to God. But despite what they'd done, God still used them in incredible ways, choosing to embrace them as His own people.
